HOW TO REGISTER YOUR USA-BRED AZTECA HORSE WITH THE AZTECA HORSE ASSOCIATION OF MEXICO

Recently, the Azteca Horse Association of Mexico officially approved Sr. Sebastian Zarate to inspect and register Azteca horses in the United States and Canada on behalf of the Asociacion Mexicana de Criadores de Caballos de Raza Azteca. Sr. Sebastian Zarate has professionally trained, bred and shown Aztecas, Andalusians and Quarter Horses for most of his life. He has developed into a world class horseman and trainer and has been involved "hands on" with the Mexican Azteca breed since it's beginning.

Sebastian is located in Texas and is available to perform revision inspections on Aztecas born in the United States for breeding stock approval and entry into the official Mexican studbook.

He is also approved to provide Mexican Azteca Certificate papers on Aztecas that meet the registration criteria using photos and video in lieu of inspection. However, it should be understood that this process does not grant an Azteca horse breeding stock approval or entry into the studbook, which still requires a physical phenotype inspection. It is hoped the information provided below will answer questions surrounding the registration process. If you need clarification or want to set up an Inspection appointment please email. Sebastian is busy training horses every day but he can be reached quicker than email by phone at 956-650-0006.
