From June 19 to June 28 of 2007, my dad, my mom, and I went to Kauai in the Hawaiian Islands. I went snorkeling five times and got pictures from four of the times. Here are some of the pictures from the first two of the four times I went snorkeling. I took the pictures with a disposable camera. I have cropped some of the pictures.

A top view of the Humuhumu-Nukunuku-Apua'a or Reef Triggerfish, the state fish of Hawaii.

The Hinalea Lau-Wili or Saddle Wrasse.

The Nenue or Lowfin Chub, these fish are about a foot long.

More Nenue. My brother Kevin wanted a picture of a fish coming at the camera. Is this close enough?

Even more Nenue. There were so many because there was a lady nearby feeding them.

I think these are smaller Nenue and also there are Manini or Convict Tangs.

My Hawaiian Fishes card that I got didn't have the name for the fish on the left, but the other two are a Manini or Convict Tang (the black stripes and the yellow top), and the Mamo or Hawaiian Sergeant (with plain black stripes). The Mamo is only found in the Hawaiian Islands.

This is another fish that I don't have the name for. Is it the Sheephead fish? Some of the pictures were taken at Lydgate and the other at Poipu. Both beaches are on Kauai

Some Manini are in this picture and there also also Na'ena'e or Orangeband Surgeonfish. In the upper left corner there is a faint side view of the Na'ena'e.

The fish in lower left corner is a Kihikihi or Moorish Idol. (You might recognize it from the movie Finding Nemo.) The fish that the Kihikihi is looking towards might be the Kala or Unicorn Fish but I cannot see the unicorn.
