Our ocean-front home is located in a romantic and private setting nestled in the dunes. Complete with a private path to the beach. The two-bedroom guesthouse has a small covered northern deck for fall and winter enjoyment and a large comfortable southern deck for summer. After enjoying the spectacular sunset the rhythm of crashing waves will lull you to sleep and the beautiful view of the ocean will start your day. We welcome you to enjoy the Long Beach Peninsula and its many festivals. In stormy weather you will feel snug and secure when the sky bursts forth with howling winds, intense rain, and furious ocean spray — an exciting experience. Elaine and Jack Sackville-West have provided a fully equipped kitchen for your cooking enjoyment and are eager to lend you a cup of sugar.

Stained Glass Gifts

Throughout the Guesthouse you will find a variety of stained glass pieces. Elaine began making stained glass about 12 years ago and it has since grown to much more than a hobby. We have available a wide assortment of two-dimensional and three-dimensional stained glass pieces. If you like any of the pieces you see, or would like to view others that we have available, please don't hesitate to ask!

Fees/Deposits/Cancellations

Summer Rate $160 weekdays, $175 weekends, $225 July 4th and Rod Run (3 night minimum)
Winter Rate $135 per night, $150 per night weekends
Cleaning fee $75 per reservation.
Excise &local lodging tax 9.8%.
Cash, Visa, Mastercard, cashier's or traveler's checks accepted. Personal checks accepted with prior approval.
The guesthouse is located on the second level.
THE GUESTHOUSE IS NON-SMOKING
PETS ACCEPTED ON A CASE-BY-CASE BASIS
NUMBER OF GUESTS IS LIMITED TO 4 ADULTS + 2 CHILDREN. 5th and 6th persons $10 per person, per night.
Check-in time is after 4 P.M.
Check-out time is 12:00 noon.
Please advise us of late arrivals and we will be happy to make special arrangements

Cancellation Policy

Since we only have one guesthouse, cancellations affect us greatly. A 100% deposit/rent is required to secure your reservation. Deposits/rent will be refunded provided you cancel at least 30 days prior to your arrival date. If you cancel less than 30 days in advance deposits/rent will be refunded only if we re-rent the guesthouse. No refund for early departures.

Directions

From Seattle

From Seattle we are 4 hours away. Take I-5 south to exit 104 to US highway 107 south. Then take US highway 101 south to Seaview Washington and Highway 103. We are 3 1/2 miles north. We are 1/2 mile past Long Beach city limits. There is a Land's End RV park and a mini storage on the left with a fire hydrant, we are one (1) foot past the fire hydrant. DIRECTLY ACROSS FROM THE "SUNSET BEACH RESORT" SIGN. Take the Private Driveway out to the beach. We are located at 11015 Pacific Way (HWY 103) between Pioneer Road and Cranberry Road.

From Portland

From Portland we are 2 1/2 hours. Take Hwy 30 to Astoria or Hwy 26 to Seaside, then north on Hwy 101 through Astoria to Seaview Washington and Hwy 103. We are 3 1/2 miles north. We are 1/2 mile past Long Beach city limits. There is a Land's End RV park and a mini storage on the left with a fire hydrant, we are (1) foot past the fire hydrant.
